Elemental Qigong

FOR ENERGY AND RELAXATION

Qigong, or Chi Kung – pronounced chee gung – is an essential energy cultivation practice designed to de-stress your mind and body to recharge and integrate your whole system. It comprises easy-to-access repeated movements, combined with breathwork, internal mind focus and meditation postures.

Qigong is moving meditation medicine, a Healing Art that is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM.) Its’ practice is at the roots of Tai Chi, Martial Arts and as a fundamental substance for all energy work.

Qigong helps us take care of our physical body, freeing up joints and clearing aches, pains and tension to enable the energy body’s Qi to flow unimpeded through the meridian lines, and be purposefully gathered in energy centres to enable balance and harmony.

As you practice Qigong, tension releases, creating S P A C E for you to land in the present moment and receive fresh vitality naturally.

This can be gathered from the Earth, Water, Air, Fire and food. Qigong integrates these elemental potencies into a balanced sustainable energy.

Stress and tension are the scourge of good health, hijacking our inner world, creating long term disruption for cells. The stress response becomes a biochemical addiction, where we’ve learnt to think it is normal to continually push ourselves. This is not sustainable.

As a result we think we have to ‘Do’ something to get energy, whereas, with Qigong, the first port of call is to stop doing, drop into being and observe stillness with an open awareness.

This is the Yin Yang principle at play. We are ever dancing with 3D duality to find equilibrium, oneness, the Zero-point of 5D awareness.

Qigong offers ways to manage addictive adrenalised behaviour, discharging tension, promoting grounding, balancing, and gathering a healing energy that invites a curiosity of the ever evolving now moment. The reward is a rich recharging of steady replenishment, a gathering of Qi into a specific area in the lower belly, known as a Dantien – which exists co-spatially with the sacral chakra – and serves as a  rechargeable battery unit.

Surrender into the ‘now’, by trusting the support that is beneath you.

Our Great GrandMother Earth holds us all, and when we give her our weight… ancient patterns of tension and anxiety can be released with ease and grace.

Exchange holding on for simply dropping in.

Notice what is supporting you now, and track it down to the Earth. Gravity encourages us to surrender to its primal force connecting us deeper. Anchoring in, rooting down, opening conduits of release and restore. Qigong goes deeper into grounding methods, where you can unwind AND resource. It’s the ‘let go’ that initiates the disposal process and this in turn activates the clearing and energising.

Mother Earth is a great composter, she transforms your old energetic debris similarly to waste matter.

Qigong can be divided in to:

1. Warm up movements : to free up joints and create flexibility

2. Movement ‘forms’ : to move Qi along certain meridians for balance and harmony

3. Meditations : to integrate the Mind, Body and Spirit into unification, to become an unstoppable force for good.

Reviews

I came into doing Qigong with an open mind and wasn’t really expecting to feel different in anyway but wow!
In 6 weeks my whole life journey has turned around in an amazing way.
I never stopped still for one thing, so simply standing still, breathing, finding my balance and inner chi has been truly overwhelming.
As the sessions have developed I’ve felt an amazing surge of healing energy in my hands and body. I’ve also experienced lots of emotional releasing and letting go of old lineage.
The replay option has been so useful, having time to reconnect and go over sessions when needed, and through our meditation the word that has come to me is ‘Colossal’, in reference to my Qigong journey, I thank you Clara, and am looking forward to the next sessions.

I am feeling very grounded after our session and my shoulders especially feel much more open. I’m aware of how much tension I was holding there now.
My biggest takeaway was at the very start actually with your way of being; not to put myself under pressure to be anything other than as I am and just to arrive before listening to what I need to do in that moment. Removing all expectation created the foundation for the practice. I also have an appreciation for the power that can be built from seemingly small movement.

I had only done Qigong for about two weeks, and I noticed a marked difference in my energy levels. My energy had been severely depleted due to my work, and I began to notice I wasn’t so tired, and still had some fuel in the reserve tank by the end of the day! In conjunction with this I was so much more grounded, and less stressed. This after only a couple of weeks is truly amazing!
If this is what a few weeks does I’m excited to continue my qigong practice to accumulate and reap the benefits of Qi.

I have explored Qigong and other energy practices with many different teachers over my time, including some high profile ones.
Today I experienced a fresh delight, precision and clarity of focus, a response to the authentic embodiment we are all being called to now. The session with Clara was a truly precise inquiry in the moment! Loved it!

The power of the chi… wow…! After the shake out my body felt completely different,
more centered and stable.
The chi in my tummy felt so powerful and I live with constant tummy trouble so I really think this is going to help massively.

The concept of stillness within movement i did find strange at first. I had practised meditation as part of Yoga, but the idea of consciously stilling the breath and body during exercise was foreign to me. Now I find it quite empowering. As a result I am a lot more conscious of my breathing and in the real world, find ‘belly breathing’ very therapeutic.

Clara has a magical and playful way of presenting Qigong and has a very clear way of teaching and informing us of all the levels within ourselves that we can work with. I really enjoy her colourful ways and her own unique path with Qigong that brings it in to our lives with ease and beautiful descriptions, making the sessions feel delicious.

Qigong feels like a physical meditation which adds an undeniable element of depth, so you can move through your mindset and emotional baggage in a very visceral way.
It incorporates both letting go and building you up. You will definitely feel ‘more’ than when you started…
In Clara, I have found a teacher who speaks the same (body) language as me and so provides tuition and insights just when I need them without my needing to ask.
