GROUNDING is the most fundamental aspect to connect with for us to thrive.
Here’s a set of Grounding Qigong movements and mindsets to nurture you well.
This sequence of videos is designed to take you on an experiential journey into the deepening of your grounding process to embody the feeling of being connected with the Earth.
Anchoring yourself into the Earth helps you to feel safe in your physical body and activates powerful channels of release and restore.
The more you are able to access this grounding, the more you create room to feel at home in your body and give fresh space to receive healing and house your soul.
Grounding occurs incrementally… it takes time to fully release, but you can enjoy every stage. So give yourself space, time.. and with your intention just allow the natural process to unwind through you.
I’m going to approach Grounding here from several directions, to give you a choice on which methods suit you best, or how a combination of different ones result in how you can feel more grounded than ever. And once you’ve felt it, you’ll remember it, and that feeling becomes an invitation to keep returning to the practice that connects you with the deepest resource under your feet, which is always there and ever abundant.
This set of videos will take you through a 5 step process from a qigong movement and energy cultivation perspective. We’ll be setting up your posture, your breath and give your mind a present moment focus, which, alongside key movements, are crafted to align you more deeply with the unwavering support and nurture of our GrandMother Earth.
Here we will explore ways to shake off the old and create space for the new, unwind tensions to create flow, with the last section bringing in a sublimely simple but hugely effective qigong movement with the rhythm of your breath.
Please remember, this approach is deeply considerate to you and your systems needs so just do what feels useful and let go of anything that does not resonate for now. Always go at your own pace, and as is the beauty of a video, you can pause or replay to your hearts content.
